The optimizer builds a lineup within the 100M budget: 5 drivers and 2 constructors. The asset pool is split into price tiers, so you compare options of similar cost instead of the whole grid at once.
"Points" mode looks for the lineup with the highest expected points. "Points|Δ$" mode looks for the lineup with the highest expected price growth, and breaks ties on points when growth is equal.
"Alternatives" lists ready-made lineups for the selected mode. Clicking a row both selects and expands it: a per-asset points breakdown, the range of likely outcomes, and why the variant is a good pick.
One driver in the lineup gets a ×2 boost — their points for the round count double. The Extra DRS Boost chip adds a second driver with a ×3 boost instead of the usual ×2 — it doesn't replace the first boost, it adds to it.
Chips are one-round rule changes. Full details for each are below, and in its tooltip inside the optimizer.
